About our athletics
Cardinal Mooney Catholic believes that athletics help foster learning opportunities. It is the desire and goal of each of our programs to instill in the student athlete the values of commitment, dedication, loyalty and sacrifice.
Since the student-athlete is a representative of our school, the highest
standards are expected of them. Sportsmanship and respect for officials and opponents are not just
talked about—it is practiced.
We are a member of the Detroit Catholic League and compete under their
rules and the rules of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. Our coaches are dedicated, loyal and committed to providing our students the values of educational athletics
